ExtemPx Options and Preferences. Notice the menu of choices
along the left side. Dozens of options can be set including
printers & paper bins, network settings, controlled drug tracking
for electronic reporting and much more. This screen shot shows
the Price Scheme screen.
In this example, the
device and formula costs are entered in the 'Test Area' so we can view
the total as we work. The
total is updated after each change on the screen (as is the
'Summary').
1.
device costs are multiplied by 2 (2 X 1.00 = 2.00)
2. formula cost is multiplied by 10 (10 X 4.00 = 40.00)
3. the costs are added to the calculated price (2.00 +
40.00 + 1.00 + 4.00 = 47.00)
4. the price is rounded to nearest dollar and then 2.00 is added (2.00 +
47.00 = 49.00)
5. a minimum price of 22.00 is set (still 49.00)
6. price is between 20 & 50 and subject to sliding
scale (49.00 X 0.75 = 36.75)
The Price Scheme setup is extremely flexible - e.g. rounding the
price and adding -0.02 results in a price that always ends in
0.98 cents.
An infinite number of price schemes in
almost any configuration can be created.
Apply multiple price schemes to a single formula.
